Welcome to 217 Holiday Lights, my name is Laci and I am the creator and administrator for the website. It seemed like every year I'd see my friends asking for the best places to take their kids to see Christmas lights but people would just say which towns, there wasn't a central place for everyone to be able to see all of the best displays.

I have tried to compile some of the best homes in the 217, of course the ones who reached out or we were told about! Our plan going forward is to add layers to the site with homes offering different types of displays and with different light counts.

We hope to add sponsors and get community involvement to create a space where families can plan an evening out with their kids but also be able to engage in the communities they're in.
